AI Watch Faces · updated 29 September 2026 · Русский
This document describes which data the AI Watch Faces app and the server at
https://miband.tipcup.me collect, what they are needed for, who they are
shared with and how to delete them.
What is collected
Account
- Your Google identifier (
sub) — so that you are recognised on the next sign-in. - Your name and the link to your avatar from your Google profile — shown in your profile and next to your published watchfaces.
- A handle, made from the part of your email address
before the
@. The address itself is not stored.
Your Google password never reaches us: signing in goes through Google Identity Services, and all we receive is a signed identity token, which we verify.
Your watchfaces
- the text of the request you wrote;
- the layout of the watchface, its preview and the file built for the band;
- a photo, if you attached one as the background;
- the counters of installs and forks.
Operational
- the session token, as a hash — the token itself is not stored on the server;
- server log entries about API requests, including the IP address — kept no longer than 30 days, for diagnostics and protection against abuse;
- the reports you have filed and the list of authors you have blocked.
What is NOT collected
- health data from the band: heart rate, steps, sleep. The app writes a watchface into the band and reads nothing out of it beyond what writing itself needs;
- location;
- contacts, calls, messages;
- advertising identifiers. There are no ads in the app and no third-party analytics SDKs.
The band's key
To write a watchface, the band needs its own 16-byte key. The app extracts the key from the log that the manufacturer's official app exports — you pick that file yourself through the system dialog. The key stays on the phone, in Android's secure storage, and is never sent to our server or anywhere else.
Photos
If you attach a photo as a background, it is uploaded to our server and passed to the rendering service so that it can go into the watchface image. Only you have access to the uploaded photo. A watchface built on a photo of your own cannot be published to the gallery: a published watchface can be copied by anyone, and a copy cannot be taken back. Access to your gallery is requested at the moment you pick a file, and only for that.
Who the data is shared with
To create a watchface, the text of your request is passed to third-party model providers:
- Anthropic — the text of the request and the current layout of the watchface, to work out where the elements go. Anthropic's policy.
- Google (Gemini API) — a short description of the scene, to draw a background image where one is needed. Google's policy.
A photo you attach is processed on our own server and is not sent to the model providers.
Nobody else receives the data and it is not sold. The one exception is a lawful request from a competent authority.
Where the data is stored
On a rented server in the European Union, in a PostgreSQL database. The connection to the app is protected by TLS.
How long it is kept
- Account and watchfaces — until you delete them yourself.
- Sessions — 30 days from the last sign-in.
- Server logs — no longer than 30 days.
- Reports — up to a year after review, so that repeat violations are visible.
- Database backups — up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
Your rights
At any time you can:
- see everything stored about you — that is your profile and the “Mine” tab;
- rename a watchface, unpublish it or delete it;
- delete the whole account — see account deletion;
- get a copy of your data or demand its deletion by writing to salimov.artem@gmail.com.
If you are in the EEA, the legal basis for the processing is the performance of our contract with you (creating and storing watchfaces) and our legitimate interest in the security of the service (logs, reports). You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will show it in the app before the changes take effect. The date of the last change is at the top of this page.
